J. S. Bakshi is a Fellow of Institution of Mechanical Engineers and has nearly fifty years of oil & gas industry experience. Mr. Bakshi is an acknowledged authority with comprehensive domain knowledge of rules and regulations of Mines Authorities and Disaster Management.

S.K. De has nearly 36 years of work experience in ONGC in the domain of exploration and development geophysics. He retired as Deputy General Manager (Geophysics), while working as the head of regional computer centre, ONGC, Calcutta. Mr. De is a graduate in Geology and Geophysics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He is also a trainer on seismic data interpretation and has authored several technical papers.

D.K. Gupta has more than 50 years of professional experience in the field of hydrocarbon exploration and production. His areas of specialization include well log interpretation and formation evaluation and reservoir characterization. He worked with ONGC for 37 years in various capacities and retired as Regional Director ONGC, CRBC. Mr. Gupta has published several technical papers in leading industry journal. He received a lifetime achievement award from SPG (India)

S. K. Gupta is an expert in interpretation of geological and seismic data for exploration of hydrocarbon. He worked with the ONGC as an exploration geologist, retiring as General Manager and Head of Interpretation of GEOPIC, Dehradun, India. During his three and a half decade long career, Mr. Gupta extensively around the world on geology interpretation projects. Apart from many publications, his book titled ‘Basin Architecture, Sedimentation and Petroleum System of Krishna Godavari Basin’ is a standard in the industry in South Asia.

V.K. Jain has worked with ONGC for 38 years in various capacities and retired as Additional Executive Director, HSE management. He currently functions as visiting faculty in the areas of health, safety and environment at ONGC Academy, Dehradun and University of Petroleum &Energy Studies, Dehradun. During his distinguished career he also provided offshore consultancy to erstwhile Enron Oil& Gas India, British Gas, and Cairn Energy.

S. P. Kumar is an IIT graduate with post graduate degrees in Applied Geology and Public Administration. His professional experience of over four decades revolves around all aspects of Petroleum industry. This includes hands-on expertise in geological field investigations, well-sitting techniques, genetic modeling, seismic data interpretation, prospect generation, basin evaluation through analysis and integration of total geological data and information.

D. N. Mishra had a 30 year career with ONGC where he was General Manager (Technical). At ONGC he worked for erection, commissioning and testing of plants and machineries as well as overseeing their operations, maintenances and repairs. Prior to ONGC, he has worked as a mechanical engineer in Aero Engine Factory project for construction, erection and commissioning of the MIG 21 supersonic jet fighter.

Pradeep K. Mittal is an Exploration Geophysicist who graduated from IIT Kharagpur. He worked with ONGC for 39 years where he was an expert on seismic data processing. While at ONGC, he was the Head of the Processing, in data acquisition in seismic party and gravity-magnetic methods. He ended his career at ONGC as Country Head of the Exploration & Production Information Network project (EPINET) which he set up during 2002-2006 before retiring as General Manager. He is a recipient of National Mineral Award by Government of India.

R.S. Parihar holds a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from Indian School of Mines, Dhanabad. Mr. Parihar had a distinguished career spanning 35 years with ONGC .At ONGC he performed multiple roles in domains of facility engineering (process & project management), well performance analysis and well services. He retired from ONGC as a General Manager (Production)-specialist pool manager.

J.C. Rastogi has 35 years of work experience in ONGC in the domain of drilling technology. During his long tenure at ONGC he was responsible for execution of several drilling projects and retired as Group General Manager & Head of Institute of Drilling Technology. After retiring from ONGC he also acted as advisor to Reliance Oil & Gas on drilling technology at Mumbai for more than 5 years.

V.C. Rundwal had a distinguished career spanning 29 years at ONGC where he was Chief Manager (Reservoir). While at ONGC he was involved in the supervision of lab studies on core analysis and chemical flooding. He also acted as Head of the reservoir Section at Dhansari Valley project in Assam. Mr Rundwal has also published several technical papers international industry journals.

S. Sahai is an Adjunct Professor of Exploration Studies in University of Petroleum & Engineering. Prior to that, he was with ONGC where he had several positions including General Manager (Geology), General Manager in KIMDP and Dy General Manager (Geology) in the Planning Commission, Government of India. During his career span of over four decades, he has published extensively in academic and technical journals in subjects related to geology.

Virender K. Sud has worked for over 37 years in the ONGC as a petro-physicist. He has worked in multidisciplinary teams in India and around the world, becoming and expert in regional interpretation, material acquisition and petroleum exploration along with data acquisition, processing and interpretation. He has been involved in designing and directing many training courses for Indian and international geoscientists.

K.R. Singh has more than 35 years of experience in the Oil& Gas sector having worked in multiple technical and commercial roles in various upstream and downstream projects. During his long tenure, he was also involved in general administration of more than 4000 officers. The last position he held was as a General Manager (Production) in ONGC, where he won an award as Manager of the Year.

Dr. K. C. Mathur is a field engineer and petro-physicist with over four decades of experience in research, analysis and evaluation. He was previously with KDM Institute of Petroleum Exploration and ONGC.

O. P. Dutta is an expert in geological review and analysis. He completed 37 years with ONGC where he retired as DGM (Geology). Having led many geological projects in India, he has depth experience in several disciplines within the field of geological review and analysis.

R. P. Singh was Chief Geophysicist at ONGC, an organization he worked with for over four decades. He is an expert on the geophysical methods of oil and gas exploration with rich experience in all the three facets of seismic technology – acquisition, processing and interpretation. He is also presently associated with Petroleum University in India as a Visiting Professor lecturing in exploration geophysics.

R. V. Chandra worked with the ONGC for almost four decades after completing his Masters from Moscow. He joined ONGC as a Assistant Executive Engineer, gradually worked his way to retire as Chief Manager (Reservoir). During his stint with Bureau of Petroleum and Chemical Studies he wrote and edited many works on technical and policy matters of Petroleum Industry in India.

S. R. Naraindas is a government approved Valuer for Plants and Machineries with more than 100 valuations under his belt. A Fellow of Institutions of Engineers, he has worked in many government projects before joining ONGC where he worked as lead of the Electrical Section for many large scale projects in oil production, installation and drilling rig.
